Shredded

vanity
vanity in the torn pieces
watching, reading every word you see
trying to apprehend
what it could possibly mean
the pride is unstinting
the discovery undaunting
but, sometimes,
the discovery are not applauded
so, sometimes,
it's better not to rearrange the shreds
for the redone may mean only dreads
like a ghost of the shadow
it might only harm your steps
See,
people aren't always what you except
neither are rules always what you accept
for the thought knows no bounds
pouring, trickling the mind's sounds
and it was unintentional probably or not
but the mistake was in rearranging the plot
forgive me if it aches your heart
disregard what you see, it wasn't my fault.

These aren't just words I've said
what the puzzle on the table has laid
for, such is life, just a gamble
and sometimes,
it's better to keep it scrambled

Foolish Crime

I just re-remembered the crime I had committed,
as I saw the evidence I thought I had omitted
and realized that I had burnt a rope
while a whole lots of others were left for the suicide to be repeated.

I am just glad she didn't enter the room
had she seen the packet she'd be chasing me with a broom
I can't get myself to believe I left it there, I've got to be insane
need to be careful from now on, I can't let this happen again.

But until then, or until I am broke,
shall I keep tying the knot, fill the room with smoke.

Graffiti Art

fake emotions, fake voice
vain fame, wrong choice
stop before it cripples your brain
it only offers solitude, there is no gain

there are words you feel are worth at all
but they're like leaves in a cold fall
they aren't worth anything, they have no sense
as long as you don't will to bring down that fence
fence you've made around your home
a garden with a lucky gnome
a dog which is always awake, the leaves cleared with a rake
take my words, nobody's gonna cross it with everything at stake
it's a dark world, lights indoors
emotions in a jar, lids closed
unless you can undo it, you will not see
what a pleasant world it is to be
and that is the sad part
your walls are painted dark
with graffiti art
and two hearts
miles apart

CREAK

perfectionist, there are some
but isn't it the mistakes we're supposed to learn from?
incapable mind sees no reason to learn, to try
over that it'd rather prefer to die
but there are points when a man must take a stand
and points where he must learn to lend a hand
for the future of only such will be grand
others will keep building empires with sand
pessimistic I agree it is
but don't we always do what we please?
isn't it the reason we mock and tease
assured the dog will never break out of its lease
times are changing, the victim preys, the hunters hide
get a good hold, this is going to be one crazy ride
and the memories of now, will forever haunt your dreams
all you'll ever hear is your shallow mind and the endless screams
screams asking you change to take a chance and go for it
before it eats you whole and that takes only a second-split
hurry, the bus won't be there forever, it's going to go soon
you'd better start at dawn, everybody's up at noon.

(this makes for a poor poem with forced rhymes to everyone who "looks" at it)
